Chevron came to Monigle for the second consecutive year with the goal of showing up with visible, educational and bold presence at the Iowa State Fair to highlight their value chain, while keeping the activation within a $250,000 design and implementation budget. We delivered on this goal by designing and producing budget-friendly yet impactful activities, photo-worthy backdrops, and educational displays that activated multiple locations at the entry and inside the fair. A fan favorite was the "crushing tables" where visitors could crush their own soy beans using coffee grinders. 
We heard from the leadership at Chevron "this should be our standard for how we show up at events" and clearly the Experience Design Awards agreed.
